100 Possibilities: Coffee Pooh

>> Tuesday, March 16, 2010

16 - P1020621er In which Pooh finds that he also loves coffee.
This was taken at an IHOP in Florida shortly after returning to Clearwater from Disney. Pooh was still new and I didn’t want him touching dirty things, but he stuck so nicely to this coffee pot.

100 Possibilities: Horse Pooh

15-P1020602er In which Pooh holds on tight.
This was taken at Magic Kingdom in Disney. They have these little statues on the side of the road leading up to Cinderella’s Castle and Pooh wanted to see if he could hang on long enough for me to get a shot.

100 Possibilities: Moleskine Pooh

>> Wednesday, March 3, 2010

P1020628er Pooh managed to find a whole rack of Moleskine notebooks - too bad I had already ordered Chris' Christmas gift online (and paid for the shipping).

100 Possibilities: Plane Pooh

>> Tuesday, March 2, 2010

P1020625er Pooh waited no-so-patiently for the plane to arrive at our terminal at JFK. He was rather anxious to get to his new home in Canada.

100 Possibilities: Pancake Pooh

>> Monday, March 1, 2010

P1020614er Pooh got his first taste of IHOP pancakes while in Florida. Unfortunately, like me, he wasn’t too impressed (that is to say, they weren’t that much better than Perkins or other breakfast restaurants-really good price though).

100 Possibilities: Panasonic Pooh

>> Thursday, February 18, 2010

Most of Pooh's shots to date have been taken with this little Panasonic camera and he wanted to check it out. He did however, have to follow the rule of using Steph's cameras and have the strap around his wrist.

100 Possibilities: Duotone Pooh on Fence

>> Thursday, February 11, 2010

I took this photo in Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, not that it really matters. I took it so that I could run it through Photoshop, which I have. I decided to do a duotone on this guy using black, dark blue, burgundy and peach. I think it has a sort of vintage feel to it and the processing definitely makes it more interesting than the original photo and different from the previous photos used for this project.

100 Possibilities: Light Pooh

>> Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Taken right near the entrance of the Epcot park in Disney World, this is second photo for my 100 Possibilities Project entitled Light Pooh. I did take it through Photoshop and dodged/burnt it a bit, but other than that it is essentially the same as it was in camera.

I ♥ Faces: We ♥ Kisses

>> Monday, February 8, 2010

This week's theme at I Heart Faces is Kisses. I was going to post a more traditional shot from either Tyler and Lynn's wedding or of one of the several kissing shots I have of Dave and I, but I thought this one was much more fun.
It was taken at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida. Stilt walkers tour around the theme park and of course play with the guests, taking photos and in this case, making out with Dave. It is obviously a very lucky puppet.

100 Possibilities: Store Pooh

>> Sunday, February 7, 2010

I mentioned a little while ago that I wanted to start a year-long project called 100 Possibilities (though I am also calling it Project 100). At the time I didn't know what object I wanted to use for the project, but was able to find what I think is the perfect one while in Disney. This little guy is quite small, he fits inside my hand in fact, and lends himself to macro photography, but is not so small that he cannot be seen in a wider angle photo. What makes him so perfect is that he is magnetic. He has magnets in his hands and feet that make me able to stick him to things for photos. His name also lends itself to some rather entertaining, though somewhat juvenile, names for the photos I have taken so far.
The first photo I am using for this project is while he is still in the store (hence the name of Store Pooh) with all his little Pooh friends.
