We went back to the Olympic bed first thing in the morning to try and get the morning sun coming up over the flowers, unfortunately my camera would not agree with me and I had to change my photograph ideas. Luckily I was still able to get some great shots.
A collection of tulip photographs taken during the 2007 and 2008 Canadian Tulip Festival. 
On the first day in London, England, my friend and I walked aimlessly around the grand city. This image was one of the first I took and to be honest, it is one of my favourites from the trip.
A budding Lilac tree caught my attention on my ride through Hogs Back Park. I can't wait until it blooms fully - I love lilac trees (and bushes), they smell absolutely fantastic.
I ended up at a childrens' playground on one of my many bike rides and got a great collections of photographs. I am not sure if I like the colour or black and white version better - so let me know what you think.
Another flower shot - I do love the pretty things in life. Though the beds are full of popular tulips, there seems to be a strong presence of daffodils around as well - I think they too deserve some photographic attention.
Another bike ride on the lookout for tulips brought me back to Hogs Back Park. I saw this little guy in the back of the bed and ended up crawling and climbing around a big tree to get to it - I think it was worth the struggle.
Tulips on the Carleton University campus with the River in the background. Only half of the bed of tulips had opened, however, both sides gave excellent photographs on this beautiful, sunny, spring day.
Another shot from the Tulip Festival - this time at the Dow's Lake location. This little insect waited patiently for me to set up the shot and then took off once I was done.
The annual tulip festival started this weekend and today I ventured out on my bike to capture the beauty that is everywhere. This is a shot I took at the 'Olympic Bed'.

I saw this a few weeks ago but unfortunately didn't have my camera on me - today on an incredibly long bike ride, I stopped by it again to get it on film before it was removed. It looks like it is a decal of sorts. For those of you who wish to see it in person - it is located on the Carleton University campus on one of the columns of the bridge crossing the river (the bridge the O-train uses).
